Swedish pop star Zara Larsson returns to North America for a new leg of her “Midnight Sun” tour.
Known for her strong vocals and signature, summer look, Larsson has made an impressive comeback as popular culture’s new favorite girl. While many, if not most, of her hit songs originate from older albums, Larsson’s fame continues to skyrocket. However, Larsson was not always known for her signature brand.
Prior to her explosion of popularity during the summer-inspired dolphin meme to Larsson’s song “Symphony,” originally released in November 2018, with artist Clean Bandit, Larsson did not have a signature look, vibe, or memorable persona. While her songs were hits when they came out, she struggled to remain relevant in mainstream media. However, she still held a decent amount of relevance for fans of YouTube music videos with her songs made on the application Gacha Life. With the return of her music with the “Symphony” trend, Larsson had an opportunity to rebrand, and that she did. Embracing the dolphin vibes and summer aesthetics, Larsson was able to complete an entire 180 and become the pop star she is today.
Her “Midnight Sun” tour began in October 2025 in Europe and quickly became a sensational event for people and fans to attend and watch, even giving birth to dance trends to her song “Lush Life,” which is currently her most listened to song on Spotify. As per her tour’s tradition, during the dance break in her performance of “Lush Life,” she chooses an audience member at random to perform the dance with her and her background dancers on stage. Now that she has a North American leg of the tour, American fans are excited to get the opportunity to experience her powerful vocals live in her second wave of fame starting February 28.
This Swedish sensation has embraced her new image and has reached levels of fame no one would have truly expected. Even though the United States (U.S.) is in a deep freeze, Larsson is touring stateside to remind her fans that summer is not quite over yet.
