As the fall season arrives, the annual Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios, Hollywood to scare and entertain guests.
Horror Nights will begin Thursday, Sept. 5, and last until Sunday, Nov. 3. Each night, it will open at 7 p.m., and close from 1 to2 a.m.
There are several admission options for visitors, in general the price for one person ranges from around $70 to over $400. While the event begins at 7 p.m., people are allowed to purchase an Early Access ticket add-on, which would entail entrance at 5:30 pm, an hour and a half before the event starts, or an after 2 p.m. pass to go during the day and remain at the park during the night. The Rip tour is a VIP tour which grants unlimited universal express access.
Included in this year’s line up is the Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse and eight houses, four scare zones, two shows, and some regular attractions. The eight haunted houses are “A Quiet Place,” “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” “Insidious: The Further,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface,” The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy, Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, Dead Exposure: Death Valley and Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America.
The four scare zones are Chainsaw Punkz located at the park main entrance, Skull Lordz on New York Street, Luchadores Monstrusos near the Monsters of Latin America maze and Murder of Crowz near the Wizarding World entrance. The two shows feature the Purge: Dangerous Waters, and Late Night with Chucky, with the former being a water show.
In addition to the spooky attractions, Halloween Horror Nights also has many dining opportunities scattered around the park including Weekend: Nightmare Trilogy Bar, Chucky’s Dive Bar, A Quiet Place City Snacks, Dia de los Muertos, Monster Eats and Leatherface’s BBQ.
Aside from the Seasonal attractions, during this time, some regular ones will also be available. These include Jurassic World-The Ride, TRANSFORMERS:The Ride-3D, Revenge of the Mummy-The Ride, The Simpsons Ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, as well as the Flight of the Hippogriff.
Halloween Horror Nights is a great place for all lovers of horror and mazes to get together and have the scare of their life.
