ECR School on Wheels
Thursdays at Lunch in T-41
ECR School on Wheels raises money for under-profited and underprivileged schools, while simultaneously teaching club members important skills.
“We want to remind people that school is a privilege, motivate students to do better in school and [help them] get more involved in our community through volunteering, participating in drives [and more],” club president junior Christina Sagorsky said.
In their club, students can learn how easy it can be to raise money to help students in need around the world. Students are able to be involved in a warm environment and share their passions for helping others.
Veterinary Medicine Club
Mondays at Lunch in B-118
Veterinary Medicine Club works to inspire students to learn more about the veterinary medicine field and the biology field in general.
“I love being able to share my passion about helping animals,” club president junior Grace Ramadan said. “There’s so many career options that people don’t know about that relate to Veterinary Medicine, so this gives us the opportunity to teach them.”
Students who attend the club can have the opportunity to learn more about field and career education through volunteering and hands-on activities.
Surf Club
Mondays at Lunch in T-42 and the Quad
Surf Club is a community that focuses on creating an environment that welcomes new and experienced surfers alike.
“I decided to start the club to share the fun of the ocean with others and create a medium to hold myself accountable to set time getting out there, help people build confidence and try something new.” club president sophomore Allison Wong said. “After all this is Socal!”
Students interested in learning about surfing are encouraged to come and make friends, ask questions and discover a group of members with the same interests.
